Combat sports

Target: Tue 5 Jan 2027 to Mon 25 Jan 2027

Boxing and MMA are planned for weeks 6 to 8 after launch.

In South Africa

South Africa has a proud boxing history and a home-grown MMA promotion in EFC, while UFC events draw big local audiences. Fight nights are a natural fit for pre-event picks.

How Puntr will cover it

Fights are one-off events, so Puntr's engine will focus on record, reach, activity and style match-ups. Picks lock before the first bell and are graded from the official result, including the method of victory.

When it goes live

Combat sports is planned for week 6 to 8 after launch (Puntr launches on Tue 1 Dec 2026). A sport only switches on once its fixture data and automatic grading are working, so the date can move. The roadmap always shows the current status.
