Rugby

Target: Tue 8 Dec 2026 to Mon 14 Dec 2026

Rugby joins Puntr two weeks after launch. Few sports unite South Africa like the Springboks.

In South Africa

The Springboks are among the most successful sides in rugby history, and the Bulls, Stormers, Sharks and Lions compete in the United Rugby Championship against Irish, Welsh, Scottish and Italian sides. The Currie Cup and Varsity Cup keep the domestic game busy too.

How Puntr will cover it

Rugby picks are about winners and margins. Puntr's engine will weigh home advantage, travel, set-piece form and head-to-head records, and grade every pick from the official final score.

When it goes live

Rugby is planned for week 2 after launch (Puntr launches on Tue 1 Dec 2026). A sport only switches on once its fixture data and automatic grading are working, so the date can move. The roadmap always shows the current status.
